Health Day: How to lose weight progressively

How are you my dear readers from the last time you read my blog? I know I haven’t posted anything for the past few weeks as I was intentionally full and engaged with work. We are migrating to our new office and things got strenuous and demanding. Fortunately, I am working from home today so I got the chance to write something.

Today I want to share with you how I lose weight progressively and flattened my belly. I always have this scenario: whenever I wear fitted dress, I fret marginally because of my belly. Yes, the struggle is real! Hitherto, I used to eat bread in the morning or pastries with hot chocolate, or bread plus Nutella and hot chocolate, or heavy breakfast depending on the mood. All sweets and sugary. Sequentially, I’ve decided to change my diet.

Take care of your body. It’s the only place you have to live. – Jim Rohn

I am very mindful and vigilant when it comes to food. If viable, I try to avoid processed foods or unhealthy snacks. Even my friends are aware how finicky I am. The environment, work and sometimes people can cause stress and tension, thus, you will be distressed indubitably. These factors can weaken your mind and body. For this reason, we need to give our bodies the right food, exercise and enough sleep.

I start with eating fruits in the morning. Needless to say, fruits are high in many important nutrients like vitamins, minerals, fiber, and antioxidants. Eating more fruits will make you feel full at the same time help you consume fewer calories and lose weight over time. I eat whole meal for lunch and dinner so I’ll have a better sleep.

  • Avocado

Avocado is my favorite and one of the healthiest fruits. The skin-savers of the food world. They can be applied externally to moisturize dry and damage skin. Avocados contain around 28 grams (1 ounce) of fat, which helps to plump out skin cells and provides the nourishment needed to prevent dryness and wrinkles. The monounsaturated oils can also reduce the inflammation.

  • Blueberries

These berries contain flavonoids, which help neutralize free radicals and strengthen the collagen in the walls of the blood vessels in the eyes. They are also rich in Vitamin C, which helps to keep the skin supplied with oxygen and nutrients.

  • Banana

Bananas are extremely healthy and delicious. They contain several essential nutrients, and have benefits for digestion, heart health and weight loss.

  • Almonds

Almonds are packed with vitamins, fiber, minerals, protein, and are associated with a number of health benefits. They are one of the best natural sources of Vitamin E which helps protect cells from oxidative damage.

If you eat in the morning, make sure to start your day off right by fueling your body with the right food. You are what you eat and it is good to invest in your health. Eating healthy is imperative and should be part of our lifestyle. The main purpose is to be healthy and fit, other benefits are just reward. When we grow old we will smile on ourselves for giving our bodies the right food when we’re still young.
